Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Patron,” “you,” or “your”) and Bourbon and Bolters, LLC (“Operator,” “we,” or “us”) for attendance at our gaming and hobby retreat which takes place on January 19-25, 2026 (the “Event”). By completing the online registration or entering the Event premises, you accept and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not attend.
1. Admission & Eligibility
1.1 Age. Patrons must be at least 21 years old.
1.2 Ticket as License. A ticket grants a revocable, non-transferable license to attend the Event. Admission may be denied or revoked without refund for any violation of these Terms.
2. Code of Conduct
2.1 Behavior Standards. You must behave respectfully and comply with all Event policies, posted rules, and staff instructions. Prohibited behavior includes:
a. Harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory conduct;
b. Threatening, violent, or reckless behavior;
c. Disorderly intoxication, excessive drunkenness, or use/possession of illegal substances;
d. Vandalism, theft, or criminal acts;
e. Possession of weapons, explosives, or dangerous items unless explicitly authorized in writing;
f. Any conduct we, in our sole discretion, deem unsafe, disruptive, or damaging.
2.2 Right to Search. We reserve the right to inspect personal belongings for safety and security.
2.3 Expulsion. We may remove or permanently ban any Patron violating these Terms or applicable law, without refund.
3. Property Damage & Patron Liability
3.1 Responsibility for Damages. You are responsible for any damage to the venue, Event equipment, or property—including rooms or accommodations provided as part of the Event—caused by you or your guests.
3.2 Security Deposit / Charges. You authorize us to charge your credit card on file for any damages or losses reasonably attributed to you.
3.3 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Operator, venue, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your conduct or breach of these Terms.
4. Food Allergies & Health Disclosure
4.1 Allergy Notification. Patrons must notify us in writing of any food allergies or dietary restrictions no later than 10 days prior to the Event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
4.2 Assumption of Risk. You assume all risks associated with attendance, including injury, illness, or allergic reactions, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
5. Compliance with Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including but not limited to those in force in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the jurisdiction in which the Event is held.
6. Alcohol & Controlled Substances
6.1 Alcohol will only be served to Patrons of legal drinking age, and valid ID may be required. We reserve the right to refuse service.
6.2 The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate removal.
7. Cancellation, Refunds & Force Majeure
7.1 We are not liable for cancellation or interruption due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fires, floods, pandemics, acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, civil unrest, government orders, or utility outages (collectively, “Force Majeure Events”). In the event of a Force Majeure Event, we may, at our sole discretion, reschedule, modify, or cancel the Event. Refunds in such cases may be partial or withheld, depending on non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
7.2 Cancellations ≥ 90 days prior to the Event are eligible for a full refund, minus processing fees. Cancellations with less than 90 days' notice are not eligible for a refund. However, if we are able to resell your ticket, you may receive a full or partial refund at our discretion.
7.3 We are not liable for cancellation or interruption due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, venue issues, governmental restrictions, or other force majeure.
8. Recordings & Media Release
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional or archival purposes. You waive any right to royalties or approval.
9. Intellectual Property
All Event content, materials, and branding are the intellectual property of the Operator or its licensors and may not be used or reproduced without express permission.
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
10.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10.2 Arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or your attendance at the Event shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in New York City, New York, in accordance with JAMS' then-current rules.
10.3 You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action proceedings. Each party shall bear its own costs unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator.
11. Severability & Modifications
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

By checking the box during online registration, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the above Terms and Conditions and voluntarily agree to be bound by them.
