Yes, you’ll need to bring your own Warhammer 40K army and personal gaming gear. For the RTT, you must bring a 2,000-point army. Tables and terrain will be provided for all scheduled events.
We offer a rich schedule of narrative-driven Crusade games, a competitive RTT, and plenty of open casual gaming (Warhammer 40K, D&D, MTG, and more). Evening events include pick-up games and social lounges. The focus is 40K, but there’s something for every hobbyist.
Bourbon & Bolters is built for adult Warhammer 40K players (21+) who want a premium, immersive hobby retreat. If you’re serious about the game, passionate about the community, and enjoy a high-end experience, this event is for you.
That’s totally fine! While bourbon and cocktails are part of the atmosphere, we offer a broad selection of non-alcoholic beverages, including mocktails, coffee, and sodas. No one is expected or required to drink.
Yes—as long as you’re capable of playing a full game of Warhammer 40K. This event is not for brand-new players, but you don’t need to be a competitive veteran either. Enthusiastic casuals, narrative campaign fans, and RTT players are all welcome.
During registration, you’ll select your specific room and can list any guests you’re bringing. We limit two people per queen bed, and all attendees are expected to participate in Warhammer 40K events. Group bookings are encouraged and easy to manage.
Visit the Tickets page for current pricing, availability, and to register. If an event is sold out, you’ll find a waitlist option there.
Yes—we are organizing group transportation from Norfolk International Airport (ORF) on Monday afternoon. If you plan to fly in, you’ll receive a travel coordination form after registration to help us plan shuttle timing and capacity. Return shuttles will be available the following Sunday.
